📸 Essential Duties & Responsibilities – Social Media Intern (Photography Brand)
Content Curation & Creation
Assist in selecting and organizing the best photos and video clips from recent shoots for social media use.
Help create engaging photo carousels, behind-the-scenes reels, TikToks, and story content.
Write clear, creative captions that reflect the brand’s voice and highlight the photography work.
Social Media Scheduling & Planning
Maintain a content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest (if applicable).
Schedule posts and stories using platforms like Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
Support with creating cohesive feed layouts and post aesthetics that match the brand’s visual style.
Trend Research & Idea Generation
Stay on top of current photography trends, viral reels/TikToks, editing styles, and social challenges.
Recommend new content ideas that blend trends with the brand’s unique style (ex. creative shoot BTS, “before & after” edits, shoot tips).
Research hashtags, soundtracks, and creative tools to optimize reach.
Community Engagement
Engage with followers through DMs, comments, and story replies in a timely and friendly tone.
Interact with other creatives, photographers, and potential clients to boost visibility and build community.
Help respond to inquiries about services and redirect serious leads to the booking system or business owner.
Analytics & Growth Support
Monitor post performance, story views, and follower growth weekly.
Assist in putting together simple reports to review top-performing content.
Suggest improvements or content adjustments based on insights.
Creative Collaboration & Brand Presence
Assist in documenting behind-the-scenes moments during shoots (when available).
Support with content for special campaigns, mini sessions, or client features.
Uphold brand voice, style, and professionalism across all platforms.
